CBSE Board Date Sheet 2025: Class 10th, 12th Practical Exams Start from January 1

CBSE : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the dates of the practical exams of the CBSE Class 10th and 12th board examinations for the academic year 2024-25. According to the official notification, the board is scheduled to conduct the CBSE Board Practical Exams 2025 for classes 10 and 12 in January 2025. CBSE 10th, 12th Board 2025 practical exams will commence on January 1 and the theory examinations will begin on February 15 next year.

“The Practical Examinations/ IA for class X and XIl and the Board’s Annual Theory Examinations are scheduled to start w.e.f. 01/01/2025 and 15/02/2025 respectively,” CBSE stated in official notice.

However, CBSE winter bound schools will conduct the CBSE Board 2025 practical exams between November 5 and December 5, 2024. The board has also released SOPs and guidelines for conducting the Practical Examination/Project/Internal Assessments in winter-bound school. These schools will remain closed in January 2025.

According to the official notification, the maximum marks allotted to each subject is 100 and the marks are distributed among the theory, practical, project and IA components according to the details released in the list by the CBSE. The CBSE Board 2025 theory exams will be conducted from February 15, 2025.
