The storytelling competition for the session 2022-23 has been announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The competition is open to all students in grades 3 through 12. The CBSE storytelling web portal can be found on the CBSE’s official website, cbse.gov.in. Candidates can register there.
The registration process must be completed by February 12, 2023.
The CBSE-organized storytelling competition will take place on three distinct levels: the school level, the regional level, and the national level. The board has listed a wide range of original and creative topics that students can choose from for the storytelling competition.
The CBSE storytelling contest: level of participation School level: From January 17 to 31, schools held their own storytelling competition, selecting one winning entry from each category to compete at the regional level.
Niveau local: The CBSE storytelling app will be used to conduct the regional competition digitally from February 1 to 12. From each CBSE region, one of the best stories in each category will be chosen at the regional level. An online merit certificate will be given to each winner.
a national scale: A group of experts will conduct a digital evaluation of the best regional entries at the national level. An online merit certificate will be given to the winners.
The CBSE storytelling contest: how to upload a video Schools can upload storytelling videos for the regional level from February 1 to February 12. Only the CBSE storytelling app allows schools to upload student videos using Android phones. Schools must obtain a consent letter from the parents or legal guardians of students whose videos are being uploaded before uploading them.
The CBSE storytelling contest: video guidelines The size of the video cannot exceed 2 MB. The video should be 2 minutes long for the primary category (those in grades 3 to 5), 2-3 minutes long for the middle category (those in grades 6 to 8) and 3-4 minutes long for the secondary and senior secondary category (those in grades 9 to 12). Creativity, fluency, content delivery, coherence, and expression will all be taken into consideration during the evaluation.
