Canara Bank Recruitment 2024: Applications Invited To Fill 6 Specialist Officer Posts

Canara Bank Recruitment : Canara Bank has invited online applications for the recruitment of Company Secretary (CS) positions in Middle Management Grade MMGS II and Scale III, under the Specialist Officer cadre.

Eligible candidates can apply for this Canara Bank recruitment via the official website. The last date to apply is October 20.

Number of Posts:

– 3 posts are available for Company Secretary (MMGS II).

– 3 posts are available for Company Secretary (MMGS III).

Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit:

For both Company Secretary (MMGS II) and MMGS III, candidates must be members of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). A desirable qualification includes LLB/CA/ICWA.

For MMGS II: Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience after obtaining membership in ICSI in a listed company and should be proficient in MS Office. The minimum age limit is 25 years, and the maximum age limit is 30 years.

For MMGS III: Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience after obtaining membership in ICSI in a listed company and should be proficient in MS Office. The minimum age limit is 28 years, and the maximum age limit is 35 years.

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:

– Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe candidates: 5 years

– Other Backward Classes: 3 years

– Persons with Benchmark Disabilities: 10 years

– Ex-servicemen, commissioned officers, including Emergency Commissioned Officers, who have rendered at least 5 years of military service and have been released upon completion of the assignment: 5 years

– Persons affected by the 1984 riots: 5 years

Reservations for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD candidates will be as per government guidelines.

Salary Structure:

MMGS II: Rs 64,820-2,340/1-67,160-2,680/10-93,960

MMGS III: Rs 85,920-2,680/5-99,320-2,980/2-1,05,280

In addition, candidates will receive benefits such as DA, HRA, CCA, Provident Fund, Contributory Pension Fund (NPS), Medical Facilities, Leave Fare Concession, and other perquisites as per the rules in force at the time.

Candidates will be selected based on an online test and interview.
