BPSSC Steno ASI Recruitment 2024: Registration Begins For 305 Posts

BPSSC Steno : Bihar Police Sub Ordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) commenced the application process for the Steno Assistant Sub-Inspector Recruitment 2024 on December 17, 2024. Candidates who wish to apply for the BPSSC Steno ASI Recruitment 2024 can visit the official website – bpssc.bih.gov.in. The Last date to apply for BPSSC Steno ASI recruitment 2024 is January 17, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed the Intermediate examination or 10+2 equivalent can apply for the BPSSC ASI Recruitment 2024. The Candidates must be between ages of 18 to 25 years as of August 1, 2024. Relaxation in the upper age limit is provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories. For OBC category candidates the age limit is between 18 to 27 for the male gender and 18 to 28 for the female gender. For candidates belonging to the SC and ST category, the age limit should be between 18 to 30 years.

BPSSC ASI Recruitment 2024: Application Fee

Candidates belonging to the Extremely Backward Class, Backward Class, Economically Weaker Section, and Unreserved Class natives of Bihar state and candidates from outside the state, irrespective of categories, will have to pay Rs 700 as an application fee.

Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe category native of Bihar state, female candidates of all classes/categories native of the state and disabled persons of all categories will have to pay Rs 400 as an application fee.

Steps To Apply For BPSSC Steno ASI Recruitment 2024

Step 1: Visit the official website of BPSSC at bpssc.bih.gov.in.

Step 2: On the home page, click on the BPSSC Steno ASI Recruitment 2024 link.

Step 3: On the newly opened page complete the registration process by clicking on the ‘new registration’ tab

Step 4: Now log in with your registration ID and password

Step 5: Fill out the application form and pay the application fee

Step 6: Now submit the application form and download it for future reference

The selection process includes a written test consisting of two papers. Paper I will have 100 questions, with a maximum score of 100, and Paper II will have 100 questions, with a maximum score of 200.

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the written examination, up to six times the number of vacancies, categorized by reservation and other eligibility criteria. If there are not enough successful candidates, the Commission may adjust the selection ratio accordingly.
