BPSC Head Master And Head Teacher Recruitment Exam Results 2024 Declared
BPSC : The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has officially released the results for the recruitment examinations for various positions, including Head Master in Senior Secondary Schools under the SC-ST Welfare Department, Head Master in Senior Secondary Schools under the Education Department and Head Teacher in Primary Schools under the Education Department. Candidates interested in viewing their results can do so by visiting the official BPSC website at bpsc.bih.nic.in.
With this recruitment drive, the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) seeks to fill a total of 6,061 headmaster positions in senior secondary schools and 40,247 headteacher positions in primary schools under the Education Department. This effort aims to strengthen the teaching leadership in educational institutions across the state by appointing qualified candidates to these significant roles.

The Bihar Education Department has provisionally selected 5,971 candidates for the role of Head Master in Senior Secondary Schools following the recruitment examination held on June 28. Additionally, the recruitment exam for Head Teacher positions in Primary Schools was conducted on June 29. For this primary school head teacher role, 36,947 candidates were listed in the merit list. These selections mark a significant step in strengthening educational leadership in Bihar’s schools.
The Head Teacher exam featured a question paper divided into two sections: the first section had 75 questions on General Studies and the second section included 75 questions on DElEd. The exam was scored out of 150 marks and lasted for two hours and 30 minutes. For the Headmaster exam, the paper was also split into two sections, covering General Studies and BEd, with each section comprising 75 questions. This exam was for 250 marks. The duration of the examination was two hours and 30 minutes. On both examination days, the tests were conducted in a single shift from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Entry to the exam venue was closed one hour before the start time. The exam was held on June 28 and June 29.
