BPSC 70th Main Exam 2025 Date Sheet Released, Registration To Begin On February 21

BPSC : Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the date sheet of the 70th Mains exam. Candidates who are going to appear for this exam can check their notice through the official website of BPSC, bpsc.bihar.gov.in. This exam will be conducted from April 25 to 30, 2025. The application process for the Mains exam will commence on February 21, 2025.

The BPSC main exam will be conducted at various exam centers in Patna. The detailed exam schedule has been released on the official website of BPSC. The announcement of the date of the main exam has come at a time when candidates are protesting demanding cancellation of the PT exam. However, the commission has made it clear that the main exam will be held as per the pre-scheduled schedule.

The BPSC declared the 70th CCE Prelims result on January 23. A total of 21,581 candidates qualified for the main exam. Over 1,400 candidates received negative marks in the exam. The Prelims exam was held on December 13, and a re-exam was conducted on January 4 for candidates who appeared at a Patna centre. This recruitment drive is aimed at filling a total of 2,027 vacancies.

The 70th BPSC exam has been engulfed in controversy following allegations of a paper leak. Despite the claims, Commission Chairman Ravi Parmar refuted them, asserting that no irregularities were discovered.

On Monday, thousands of students protested in Patna demanding a re-examination of the 70th BPSC PT exam held on December 13. Candidates allege widespread rigging and irregularities at the Bapu Examination Centre and are calling for an investigation and cancellation of the exam. The protest saw a large number of candidates marching from Musallahpurhat to Gardani Bagh. The demonstration was met with lathi charges, and cases have been registered against several candidates.
