BPSC 70th CCE Prelims Re-Exam 2024 On January 4
BPSC : The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is set to conduct the 70th Integrated Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination (CCE) 2024 once again on January 4, 2024. However, the Commission’s Chairman Parmar Ravi Manubhai has said that instead of cancelling the examination for all candidates, only the examination held on December 13 at Bapu Campus Exam Centre is being cancelled. About 12,000 candidates who took the exam at this centre will have to appear for the exam again on January 4, 2024, at a different centre in Patna.
There was a lot of commotion during the examination held on December 12 at the Bapu Campus Exam Centre in Patna. Candidates protested alleging irregularities in the examination. During this, the DM of Patna also slapped a candidate. An officer on duty at this centre also died tragically due to a heart attack.

The commission has issued show cause notices to 34 candidates allegedly involved in the disruption. They have to respond to the notice by December 26. If they do not do so, BPSC will make a decision based on the available evidence. The chairman assured them that their answers would be reviewed before taking appropriate action.
