BITSAT 2025 : The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani will commence the application process for the BITS Admission Test (BITSAT) 2025 today, January 21, 2025. Candidates who wish to get admission to BE, BPharm and MSc courses under the integrated first-degree programmes at Pilani, KK Birla Goa, and Hyderabad campuses can register online through the official website – bitsadmission.com.
The institute offers 10 BE programs across its four campuses and 6 MSc courses based on the BITSAT score. The BITSAT entrance exam will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT) with a duration of 3 hours. Candidates will have the opportunity to attempt the exam twice within a year. The exams will be held at centres across India, Nepal, and Dubai.
BITSAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for BITSAT 2025 for BE and BPharm admissions are as follows:
Candidates who have completed Class 12 in 2024 or are appearing for the Class 12 board exams in 2025 are eligible to apply for the entrance exam.
For BE admission, candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized central or state board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subjects, along with sufficient proficiency in English.
For BPharm admission, candidates should have passed the Class 12 exams with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects, along with adequate proficiency in English.
Candidates who studied PCM are also eligible to apply for the BPharm program.
A minimum aggregate of 75% marks in PCM or PCB in Class 12 is required.
Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and/or Biology subjects.
BITSAT 2025 Application Fee
The application fee for BITSAT 2025 varies based on the number of attempts and gender. For two attempts, male candidates are required to pay Rs 5,400, while female candidates will pay Rs 4,400. If a candidate chooses to attempt BITSAT only once (either in session 1 or session 2), the fee is Rs 3,400 for male candidates and Rs 2,900 for female candidates. In case a candidate opts to appear for session 1 only and then applies separately to appear a second time, the fee is Rs 2,000 for male candidates and Rs 1,500 for female candidates.
The BITSAT exam will be held in two sessions, and candidates applying for the entrance exam can choose the exam centre, date, and slot that is most convenient for them.
Students will be allowed to appear twice in BITSAT in the same year. “Such a candidate will then choose one slot from the first set of dates and another from the second,” it said.
