Bihar Home Guard Recruitment 2025: Notification Released For 15000 Posts

Home Guard Recruitment : Bihar Police has issued a notification for the recruitment of 15000 Home Guards across the state. According to the short notice issued by the Bihar Home Guard Director General’s Office, the recruitment of Home Guards will be done in 37 districts of Bihar (except Arwal, Police District Navgachhia, and Bagaha).

Online application for Bihar Home Guard Recruitment 2025 will take place from March 27 to April 16. The detailed advertisement of Home Guard Recruitment will be released on the official website at onlinebhg.bihar.gov.in on March 27 (Thursday). According to the vacancy roster, Patna has the highest number of vacant posts in the Home Guard.

Bihar Home Guard Recruitment 2025: Educational Qualification

Candidates who have passed class 12 will be able to apply for this recruitment. More detailed information about the eligibility of Home Guard Recruitment 2025 will be available only after the detailed notification. This recruitment will be done at the district level. Candidates will be able to apply in their own district.

Home Guard recruitment will be done through written examination and physical tests. The written examination is likely to be in offline mode.

Meanwhile, last week, the Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) Bihar announced the recruitment process for 19888 positions of Constable in the Bihar Police and Bihar Special Armed Police. The online application process commenced on March 18, 2025 at the official website, csbc.bihar.gov.in. The last date to apply will be April 18, 2025. Candidates whose applications are accepted will be invited to appear for a written exam based on the Bihar Board’s 10th-grade (Matric) curriculum.
