Bihar Board Matric, Inter Exam 2025 Result Date And Time Announced

Bihar Board : Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Chairman Anand Kishore has announced tentative dates for the declaration of the 2025 board examination results. Students can expect the class 10 results in the first week of April 2025. The class 12 results will be released earlier, in the last week of March 2025. For the past few years, BSEB has been the first one to release the board results among other state and central boards.

The BSEB class 12 exams 2025 were conducted from February 1 to 15. The class 10 exams are currently underway, having commenced on February 17 and are scheduled to conclude on February 25.

Once announced, students can access and download their BSEB Inter and matric result 2025 mark sheet at the official websites – biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in and results.biharboardonline.com. Their scores will also be available via SMS and DigiLocker app. The provisional answer key is usually released before the results are made public.

Bihar Board 10th, 12th Result 2025: Passing Marks

Students must note that they need to achieve at least 33 per cent in every subject as well as overall to qualify for the Bihar board 10th and 12th exams 2025. Those who fail in one or two subjects will be able to take the BSEB compartment exam 2025. However, those who fail in more than two subjects will need to repeat the same class.

Every year, the toppers in Bihar Board Class 10th and 12th are usually awarded with cash prizes. Students who get first, second, and third position get Rs 1 lakh, Rs 75,000, and Rs 50,000 respectively. Apart from this, laptops are also given to the students.

In 2024, the Bihar Board 10th exams were conducted between February 15 and 23, which were taken by over 16 lakh students. A total of 82.91% of the students who took the exam cleared it or 13,79,542 students passed. This was the highest-ever pass percentage by BSEB.

Meanwhile, a total of 11,26,439 students passed the BSEB inter exam in 2024. In the arts stream, 86.15 per cent cleared the exam while the number was 94.88 per cent in the commerce stream, and 87.80 passed in the science stream.
