Ayush Doctor Recruitment : The State Health Society of the Bihar Government has issued an official notification regarding a major recruitment programme. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the recruitment of Ayush Doctor in Bihar, the minimum age of a candidate should be 21 years. The maximum age limit may vary depending on your category and gender. Here’s a detailed look at the maximum age limit –

– Unreserved/EWS, Male – 37 years

– BC/EBC, Male and Female – 40 years

– Unreserved/EWS, Female – 40 years

– SC/ST, Male and Female – 42 years

In terms of educational qualifications, an Ayurvedic doctor must possess a BAMS Degree. For homeopathy, doctors have done BHMS. Finally, Unani Doctors must have done BUMS to be eligible for the recruitment programme. An additional year of compulsory internship in Bihar State Ayurvedic and Unani Medical Council, Bihar is also required.

Salary

Once recruited for the post of Ayush Doctor, candidates can expect a lump sum pay of Rs 32,000 per month. One must note that his form of recruitment is done on a contract basis.
