Banaras Hindu University announces scholarships under Pratidana initiative

Banaras Hindu University : Banaras Hindu University (BHU) announces three new scholarships, one each for the Faculty of Education, Central Hindu Boys School, and Central Hindu Girls School. According to the official press release, the university received donations to establish these scholarships, under its Pratidana initiative.

According to the institute, Rahul Srivastava, a business leader, donated money to support these scholarships. The scholarships are named after Bindhyachal Devi, Madan Mohan Prasad, and Bimla Srivastava, three of Srivastava’s relatives.

The Bindhyachal Devi grant is a Rs 25,000 yearly grant for a first-year Lone wolf of Instruction (BEd) custom curriculum understudy at the personnel of training. For one student in class 10 at Central Hindu Boys School and Central Hindu Girls School, the Madan Mohan Prasad scholarship and the Bimla Srivastava scholarship each award Rs 5,000 annually. The scholarships will be given out based on merit and means.

Banaras Hindu University’s Pratidana initiative seeks to mobilize alumni and well-wishers for the purpose of establishing merit-based scholarships, need-based financial aid, expanding learning opportunities, and promoting excellence in teaching.

According to the official press release, Rahul Srivastava met with Sudhir Kumar Jain, vice-chancellor of BHU, and expressed his family’s admiration for BHU and the role it has played in shaping good citizens and education. The vice-chancellor expressed appreciation for Rahul Srivastava’s family’s contribution and acknowledged Rahul’s kindness and generosity.
