Assam TET 2024 Postponed, Check New Exam Date; Fresh Admit Cards Soon

Assam TET 2024 : The Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam has revised the exam date of the Assam Teacher’s Eligibility Test (TET) recruitment exam 2024. Initially scheduled for December 29, 2024, the exam will now take place on January 19, 2025. The board will also issue fresh admit cards to all the candidates who applied for the exam starting January 3, 2025, from 11 AM onwards.

Ranoj Pegu took to microblogging site X to inform about the postponement of the exam. “The TET cum Recruitment Test scheduled for 29/12/2024 has been postponed to 19/01/2025. Candidates can download fresh Admit Cards using their Application No. and Password on the Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam’s website (https://madhyamik.assam.gov.in) from 11 AM on 03/01/2025,” he posted.

The new examination schedule is now available on the official website at madhyamik.assam.gov.in. There are two exam papers, each held for 2 hours and 30 minutes. Each paper contains 150 multiple-choice questions. Blind candidates receive an additional 20 minutes to write the exam.

Assam TET 2024 Admit Card: How To Download?

Step 1: Once out, candidates need to go to the official website of Assam TET, which is, madhyamik.assam.gov.in, to download the hall ticket.

Step 2: Upon reaching the homepage, search for and click on the ‘Assam TET Admit Card 2024 Download’ link.

Step 3: Key in your application number and password in the provided space and then click submit.

Step 4: Once done, your Assam TET Admit Card 2024 will be displayed on your screen.

Step 5: Download and save a copy of the same and take a print out for future use.

Students appearing for the exam are required to carry a hard copy of the admit card along with a photo identity card issued by the government (such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving license, or voter ID). PwBD (Disabled) candidates must carry a document recognized by the competent authority as a certificate to the exam centre.
