Assam Governor highlights role of universities in facilitating research

According to a Raj Bhavan press release, Kataria was scheduled to speak on Saturday at the concluding event of a three-day national conference of vice-chancellors on the topic “Transformative Higher Education for Atmanirbhar Bharat.” The gathering was coordinated by the Relationship of Indian Colleges and facilitated by College of Science and Innovation (USTM), Meghalaya.

Additionally, he stated that the New Education Policy will assist in preparing the educational system for the upcoming challenges. The release added that Rakkam A Sangma, Meghalaya’s Education Minister, Nani Gopal Mahanta, National Secretary of Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas, Atul Kothari, and Dr. Pankaj Mittal, Secretary General of the Association of Indian Universities, were among the dignitaries who attended the event.
