AP ECET 2025 : The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has started accepting online applications for the Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) 2025 today, March 12, 2025. Aspiring candidates can apply for the exam through the official website, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in, until April 7.

Conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, on behalf of the APSCHE, the AP ECET exam is the gateway for students seeking admission into the first year of undergraduate Bachelor of Technology (BTech) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) programmes.

The application correction window will remain open from April 24 to 26. Students can make necessary changes to their submitted applications during this time. Admit cards will be available for download on the official website starting May 1 and the exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 6. As per the notification, the preliminary answer key will be issued on May 8.

The application fee for OC category candidates is Rs 600, it is Rs 550 for BC category candidates, and Rs 500 for SC and ST candidates.  Those who miss the initial deadline can still register until April 12 by paying a late fee of Rs 1000 and till April 17 by paying a late fee of Rs 2000.

AP ECET 2025: Steps To Register

Step 1: Go to the official page at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.

Step 2: Register yourself first by filling in personal details and contact addresses.

Step 3: Then pay the application fee online.

Step 4: Upload all the scanned documents such as a photograph, signature, class 10 and 12 documents, and caste certificate (if applicable).

Step 5: Submit the AP ECET 2025 application form as instructed.

Step 6: Save, download, and print the confirmation page.

The AP ECET is administered as a computer-based test (CBT) in two slots: 9 am to noon (morning) and 3 pm to 6 pm (afternoon). The exams include agricultural engineering, ceramic technology, civil engineering, computer science and engineering (CSE), chemical engineering, BSc (mathematics), electrical and electronics engineering (EEE), electronic and communication engineering (ECE), electronic and instrumentation engineering (EIE), mechanical engineering, metallurgical engineering, mining engineering, and pharmacy.
