AIIMS Delhi inaugurates surgical robotics training facility

The AIIMS Delhi has initiated a best in class careful mechanical technology preparing office at the SET – – ability, e-learning and telemedicine office – – of the foundation. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi and India Medtronic Private Limited, a Medtronic plc-owned subsidiary, have formed this public-private partnership.

An AIIMS official stated on Tuesday that the center, which was conceptualized and established under the direction and vision of Dr. M Srinivas, Director of AIIMS-New Delhi, will provide surgeons with the best-in-class training in robotic-assisted surgeries.
The official stated that AIIMS New Delhi is the only government-funded medical institution in this region that offers simulation-based robotics training. The facility’s opening places the institute once more on the global map.

The new preparation office was introduced by Dr M Bajpai, Dignitary, Scholastics, within the sight of Dr Arvind Bagga, Administrator, SET office, Dr V Seenu (Personnel in-control, WET Lab, SET office; joined virtually were Michael Blackwell, vice president and managing director of Medtronic India, and Dr. Ambuj Roy, professor in charge of the SET facility. The association unites novel innovation and many years of careful mastery at the AIIMS New Delhi to prepare specialists across the country and extend admittance to the advantages of the RAS, the authority said.
