AICTE launches AURA 2024 scheme to promote utilisation of I-STEM

AURA 2024: The All India Council for Technical Education has launched the AICTE AURA (Augmenting Utilisation of Research Assets 2024 Scheme) in order to promote the use of I-STEM (India Science Technology Engineering Facilities Map) by providing financial assistance to teachers and students in AICTE-approved colleges for using I-STEM facilities and boosting research.

AICTE Executive TG Sitharam sent off the plan at the AICTE base camp in New Delhi. During the occasion, he expressed that putting resources into innovative work opens up open doors for joint effort with scholastic establishments and exploration associations.

Sitharam said, “The point of Emanation plot is to expand existing examination by usage of public subsidized equipment and programming R and D offices planned by I-STEM, and in this manner fostering a culture of exploration in specialized training Establishments.”

A measure of up to Rs 2 lakhs would be repaid to the scientist to take up an exploration subsequent to presenting the installment receipt for usage of hardware and offices enlisted on I-STEM entry. The greatest financing limit for every scientist is Rs 2 lakh.

Bills ought to be submitted on a half yearly reason for repayment during the monetary year from April to September (before October 31) and October to Spring (before April 30). The repayment will be made greatest two times in a year. The installment will be made online through RTGS or NEFT straightforwardly to the analyst’s financial balance.
