AICTE facilitates Indo-Taiwan collaboration to boost semiconductor sector

Indo-Taiwan collaboration: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), under the Ministry of Education, has Indo-Taiwan collaboration to enhance India’s semiconductor capabilities and foster research in the semiconductor sector.

A delegation, led by AICTE director T G Sitharam, visited Taiwan from September 9 to 15, 2023, and met different scholarly specialists and bad habit chancellors from Taiwanese colleges. Numerous agreements were made by the Indian team with Taiwanese academic institutions.

According to AICTE, the partnership will boost skill development, student exchange programs, and collaborative research and development efforts in the field of semiconductors, which are essential to every sector of the electronics industry and are projected to be worth a trillion dollars by 2030. India plans to assume a urgent part in semiconductor fabricating, requiring the improvement of a talented labor force.

The chamber expressed that a few organizations are committed solely to expertise improvement and act as preparing focuses and the Indo-Taiwan cooperation features the collaboration between the scholarly community, industry, and government.

These institutions were able to achieve industry certification, according to the AICTE, thanks to support from industry and the government. The drawn out vision is to reproduce these preparation offices in India, guaranteeing that the labor force is furnished with the essential ability. Cooperation with Taiwan will work with information trade and further enhance these endeavors” an authority proclamation read.
