JNU : Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan, who is on a four-day visit to India, will be conferred an honorary doctorate by Jawaharlal Nehru University on Tuesday, according to the Education Ministry. President Hassan arrived here on Sunday on a four-day visit.
“The primary lady Leader of Tanzania will be regarded with a privileged doctorate (Honoris Causa) by Jawaharlal Nehru College for her vital job in encouraging more grounded India-Tanzania relations, advancing monetary discretion, and making progress in provincial coordination and multilateralism.
“She gladly recognizes herself as a “result of Indian schooling”, crediting it to her ITEC preparing at NIRD, Hyderabad,” the Instruction Service posted via virtual entertainment site X.
